Keble Heath Construction was originally set up in 1973 by John Cooper and Brian Springett.

Both John and Brian had formerly worked for Tarmac Contracting in charge of asphalt laying in the Stoke-on-Trent area and beyond.

Brian left in to pursue a career oversees, prior to setting up Springetts Tarmac Plant in Stoke-on-Trent and Springetts Surfacing Contractors.

His successor Peter Grossick broadened the scope of work Keble Heath undertook to include groundworks and drainage.

John Cooper retired from full time work in 1988, handing over the reins to Peter. John died in 1998, leaving Peter Grossick in sole charge with Stuart McCreedy as general foreman.

Stuart retired in 2001, being replaced by Johns son Charlie Cooper. Charlie arrived with a main contractor background working on large infrastructure and building projects mainly in the South West.

Peter retired in 2006 with Charlie Cooper becoming Managing Director.
